Since launching in 2000, NBLC has celebrated hundreds
of baptisms. God has used us to launch three daughter
churches. We have partnered with three other U.S.
congregations in a mission society to initiate and support
mission work among an unreached people group in
Central Asia. And from our ranks, some have been called
into full-time ministry!
But the best is yet to come! We have adapted our methods ("principles remain the same, but tactics change"), but our Vision of church-multiplication has remained from day one. The below graphic and descriptions explain NBLC’s Vision Framework.
But the best is yet to come! We have adapted our methods ("principles remain the same, but tactics change"), but our Vision of church-multiplication has remained from day one. The below graphic and descriptions explain NBLC’s Vision Framework.
Our Mission. What are we doing?
New Beginnings exists to build relationships with Jesus Christ and one another: person-to-person, house-to-house, city-to-city, and nation-to nation. Or as our mission slogan simply states: "To Know Christ and Make Christ Known!"
Our Values. Why are we doing it?
The motivation for what we do can be remembered as the 4Gs: Grace, Growing, Groups (i.e. "Community" is the actual value), and Generosity.
Our Strategy. How are we doing it?
One simple sentence explains our strategy: NBLC trains households to share faith where they live.
Our Measures. When are we successful?
NBLC’s Cross-Driven Purposes provide the life expressions we seek for every disciple. W-I-S-D-O-M spells Worship, Inreach, Service, Disciplines, Outreach, and Multiplication.
Our Vision. Where is God taking us?
We see thousands of people connected to Jesus through Word and Sacrament at NBLC while catalyzing partnerships to plant churches that reach hundreds-of-thousands of people locally and globally.
Note: The Vision Framework and each definition provided above are derived from Will Mancini’s book, Church Unique.
