All baptized followers of Jesus are called to care for each other. We know that in our heart of hearts. We are right to expect people in churches to care for one another. In fact, the Bible contains over 50 verses that mention how we are to live toward 'one another'.
Whether someone is home-bound, hospitalized, or going through a challenging season such as a divorce, a job-loss, chronic illness, or other emotionally taxing circumstance, NBLC has people ready to care through a variety of expressions.
Caring development happens through ePrayer responses, provision of meals, or even a ride to an appointment. Caring ministry members make home visits and/or hospital visits. Caring companions provide one-to-one care by listening, praying, and providing spiritual support.
Ideally, everything our Caring ministry members do will also identify or enlist the help of Your Five relationships to provide sufficient support from the body of Christ.

Your Five
When we say, Your Five, we don't mean a literal number. These are people who join hands with you in life. It could be just one person, but “many hands make light work,” as they say. We want you to have truly meaningful relationships among your faith family at NBLC.
