Strategy

Show The Way

Strategy is the process or picture that shows how NBLC will accomplish the mission on the broadest level. Strategy shows the way. It’s the rhythm of our faith family. It’s the pattern of participation. Strategy translates into NBLC’s operational logic. Clear strategy helps NBLC do fewer things with better quality so our people can do less church activity and live more for Jesus. We embrace strategy as our missional map. Strategy answers the question, "How are we doing it?" — Adapted from Church Unique Visual Summary, by Will Mancini

NBLC trains households to share faith where they live.
Our goal is not just increasing our seating capacity, but also our sending capacity. We provide training events to equip people to share faith where they spend their lives (at home, work, and play). To help people at NBLC understand how we want to prepare them to share faith where they live, we point them to our strategy icon. Each component of the Cross Training Circuit represents the various parts of our strategy.
The Book of New Beginnings and the Vision Framework are the required reading for Voting membership. These give you quick and easy access to knowing our congregation’s core beliefs and what it means to be a cross-driven church.
PLACE is an online assessment tool that allows you to see how God made you for life. Request access to the assessment and listen to teachings for each one of the five categories here. Once the assessment is completed, there is an option to meet with a Connection Coach to gain further understanding of where you fit.
New Friends is a seminar where we discover God’s heart that we grow together in Christ and join Him in His mission where we live, work, and play. Sign-up to join the next session here.
In addition, Christian instruction for infants and children begins on Sunday mornings in the nursery (0-3 years) and at NBLC Kids (4 years to 4th grade). We also provide a Confirmation Experience for 5th-6th graders, as well as Middle School and High School groups. Some churches only celebrate "confirmation" at one time in a believer's life, but NBLC understands Discipleship is a lifelong journey with many faith steps beginning at birth until Jesus takes us home!
