Take a day to pause and reflect on what you've learned over the last five days.
Somewhere along the way, confessing sins to anyone other than Jesus got a bad rap. That’s unfortunate. After all, pouring out our hearts to one another is healing: “Therefore confess your sins to each other and pray for each other so that you may be healed. The prayer of a righteous person is powerful and effective.†(James 5:16)
This week has raised the bar regarding our Christian life. God loves us just the way we are, but He loves us too much to leave us that way. And God has put others in our lives so that we can speak the gospel to one another. Therefore, discuss the following with family or friends. (As a reminder, if you're unable to meet with anyone to discuss these questions, we invite you to journal through these things by yourself.)
