1. Think of a time you had something stolen from you. How did that make you feel?

2. Pastor Joe made the observation that stealing is more than armed robbery or embezzlement, but it can be a poor work ethic or even failure to bring your priority percentage offering (your tithe) into the context of worship. Why would you agree or disagree with the way this was explained?

3. The story from the movie, Cinderella Man—when the little boy stole salami to feed his family—illustrated stealing from a motive of ‘need’ rather than ‘greed.’ Is it ‘fear of not having enough’ or ‘wanting too much for yourself’ that keeps you from giving more generously to God and others?

4. God promised to always meet your needs according to his glorious riches in Christ Jesus (Philippians 4:19). How do you feel God has done providing for you so far?
