Take a day to pause and reflect on what you've learned over the last five days.
This week's reading explained much about growing in your relationship with your Savior. Your personal relationship to your Father is important. You also need to keep in mind how it relates to your siblings (or faith family). Just as Jesus gave many promises about our individual prayer lives, He has also given promises about praying together. For example, "Again, truly I tell you that if two of you on earth agree about anything they ask for, it will be done for them by my Father in heaven. For where two or three gather in My name, there am I with them." Matthew 18:19-20
Many people find praying in the presence of others very difficult. Ironically, we can hold a conversation with a person, but immediately clam-up when including God in the conversation. This is something we need to allow God to change in us. After all, corporate prayer is an important part of our faith family by God's design. Therefore, talk through the following with others. (As a reminder, if you're unable to meet with friends or family to discuss these questions, we invite you to journal through these things by yourself.)
