At New Beginnings Lutheran Church, our kids (6 weeks through 4th grade) experience safe, age-appropriate environments where they learn about Jesus in a creative, caring, and relevant way.
NBLC Kids is where faith, fun & friendship come together.
We would love to see you and your family visit NBLC Kids at 9:00 a.m. or 10:30 a.m. on Sunday! We’re located at 791 New Beginnings Drive in Pacific, Missouri. You can find directions here.
Safety first!
Our check-in procedures ensure that children are under our care until a parent or guardian picks them up.
On your first visit, we'll ask for some personal information (child's name and date of birth, name of parents/guardians, phone numbers, address, and any special instructions). Please note that we value your privacy and will not share this information with anyone.
Both you and your child will receive matching name tags that are exclusive to your family and visit. Your child will need to wear the name tag portion while you hold on to the matching tag during the service. When you pick up your child at the end of service, we'll check for the matching name tag.
A paging system is in place in the event that we need to contact you during the service.

Learning Lambs
infants and toddlers under 3 years of age
Our nursery team shows Christ’s love to our littlest ones through story, play, and care. This area was designed with infants and toddlers in mind with rocking chairs, ride-on toys, soft books, and other age-appropriate toys.
Prayer Room
preschoolers
We like to keep our lessons simple and interactive with videos, kids praise music, activities, and crafts to keep our preschoolers engaged.
Faith Express
kindergartners
Kindergartners will grow in Christ in their own classrooms through hands-on activities and a simple lesson plan.
Armor Room
1st and 2nd graders
Our lessons get a little more in-depth but still include plenty of time for fun games and crafts reinforcing our weekly lesson point.
Disciples Room
3rd and 4th graders
Our curriculum encourages kids to apply the lesson to their daily lives. Weekly videos, games, and crafts are all part of the experience!
Special Events
In addition to our weekly NBLC Kids’ Sunday services, children participate in special events like our annual Christmas Program & Cookie Extravaganza. Children are also encouraged to support our church-wide missions such as Operation Christmas Child and Christian Friends of New Americans (CFNA). NBLC Kids even participates in a Shoebox Packing Party!
Meet our Children’s Ministry Director
Laetitia Nappier joined the New Beginnings team as the Children’s Ministry Director in 2018. Laetitia’s faith journey has been greatly influenced by the outpouring of love she has witnessed from the church, family, friends, and mentors. It’s what drives her to serve the families at NBLC—yours included!

Ready to visit?
Great! Simply stop by our NBLC Kids check-in area on Sunday so we can meet you and check your child(ren) into our system. One of our volunteers will then lead your family to the age-appropriate classroom(s). We can't wait to meet you!
