What's your next faith step?

New Beginnings encourages a lifelong discipleship process that celebrates a variety of Faith Steps. Every step is intended to encourage a relationship with Jesus starting in the earliest stages of life and deepening as we journey throughout adulthood. We hope to witness each other grow deeper in faith, and in community with one another, as we seek to know Christ and make Christ known!

  • Weekly Worship

Gathering as ‘the church’ to receive God’s Word and Sacraments is a matter of life-and-death for the Christ-follower. Find out more about visiting New Beginnings here and join us Sunday mornings at 9:00 a.m. and 10:30 a.m.

  • Baptism

Christ wants you to receive this plug-in to His new, resurrection life ASAP. Ready to get baptized? Contact faithjourney@nblc.net so we can begin celebrating this step with you!

  • The Lord's Supper

This food for faith where Jesus renews and empowers you to keep the faith is something we can’t get enough of! We partake in this meal on second and fourth Sundays of each month at our 9:00 a.m. and 10:30 a.m. services. Join us at the buffet of grace!

  • NBLC Kids

Children 6 weeks through 4th grade experience safe, age-appropriate environments on Sunday mornings where they learn about Jesus in a creative, caring, and relevant way. NBLC Kids happens during our 10:30 a.m. service. Find out more on our NBLC Kids page.

  • First Communion

Children entering 5th grade are mainstreamed into our intergenerational worship and prepared for communion in this one-hour seminar in August of each year. Interested in learning more? Contact faithjourney@nblc.net.

  • Faith Expressions

During the months of September through May, we offer faith instruction for the following:

    • Confirmation Experience: Catechism teaching and whole Bible survey for our 5th and 6th graders.
    • Middle School Group: Applies the Bible to media, peer pressure, and other topics that our 7th and 8th graders are facing.
    • High School Group: Applies the Bible to teenaged life stressors that 9th-12th graders can relate to.
    • Adults: Various 3-6 week studies for men and women about finances and Bible book and/or topical studies.
  • Connect Groups & Teams

We all need a context to exercise our faith and to live out the “one another” verses of the Bible. Beyond Sunday and Wednesday experiences, a variety of opportunities exist to continue growing in your faith life. Find out more on our Groups page. Better yet, let us know you’re interested in joining or leading a group here.

  • New Directions

The pathway to membership at NBLC is found through the Book of New Beginnings and our Vision Framework addendum. These online resources allow for quick and easy access to understanding our core beliefs and what it means to be a cross driven church.

  • New PLACE

Find out how God made you for life by requesting access to this online assessment tool here. Once you complete the PLACE assessment, you’ll have an option to meet one-to-one with a Connection Coach to gain further understanding of your PLACE in ministry. And don’t forget to listen to the teachings associated with each one of the five categories of PLACE here.

  • New Friends

A six-week connect group that meets together around the Word, builds relationships with one another, and learns to grow together in Christ. Interested in learning more about New Friends? Contact faithjourney@nblc.net.

  • Other Seminars

Look for periodic seminars like Financial Peace University, Blended & Blessed, and other helpful topics. These will be advertised in your Sunday bulletin, on our Events page, and through our weekly FYI email (subscribe here).
