We have many options for connecting with others beyond the "hit-and-run" experience on Sunday mornings. After all, the 90 or so minutes devoted to your whole worship experience is not enough to experience the sense of belonging we all crave. So here are a variety of options for doing life together:
Connect Groups: These usually meet in homes. All that is needed is someone to host and some friends who would like to discuss a Christian book, do a Bible study curriculum or simply talk through the insights, questions and convictions raised during the message at worship.
Men's & Women's Events: Seasonally, Prayer Breakfasts, Men's and Women's Bible Studies, or even retreats are offered at NBLC and in our community. You'll hear about these during announcements at worship, read about them in our bulletin or weekly email blast, or see them highlighted on our Events and Facebook pages.
F3 Events (Food, Faith & Fun!): Every Lent (the weeks before Easter) and Advent (the weeks before Christmas), we offer a cost-meal at NBLC that provides an informal way to meet others over a tasty dinner. This time also includes a brief teaching time and wraps up with a Minute-to-Win-It style game for anyone who wants to participate (or wallflowers can just watch!).
Financial Peace University: Once annually (usually in January to be just in time for new year's resolutions!), we offer a nine-week version of Dave Ramsey's hit series on how to manage your finances and stay out of debt.
Reach Events: As the school year kicks off in September, we relaunch our worship services with a Palooza event. This annual event begins with a whole church, outdoor worship service at 9:30 AM. Then a small carnival ensues with music, tasty food, kids games and more food! We also host other events like float-trips, camp outs, etc.
