Community Involvement

Red Cross Blood Drives: Twice annually we host the Red Cross. Keep an eye on our Events page to see your next chance to save a life and give blood!

Serve Our Town: Whether in response to catastrophe (like the December 2015 flood that hit and impacted so many of us) or simply aiding an area resident no longer able to clean their gutters, we regularly gather as a team to serve in our community. Head on over to the Serve Our Town page for more information!

Hogan Road: One of the first places people will see that we don't exist for ourselves is on the frontage road we share with our neighbors. We took responsibility to keep it clean through MoDot's Adopt-a-Road program. We sponsor these "scavenger hunts" for liter at least twice a year.

Operation Clean Stream: Joining with the Open Space Council for the St. Louis Region, NBLC contributes lots of sweat equity to keep our rivers clean during this annual effort.

Agape Help House: This food pantry and resale shop is a great way for our congregation to provide help through a charity better equipped than us to meet area needs.

Stephen Ministry (One-to-One Care): Unless you know the backstory from Acts 6, this name will not mean much to you. But the Stephen Ministry team will mean a lot if you are in a difficult season of life. Stephen Ministers are not counselors, but they have undergone in-depth training to provide one-to-one care. They provide a listening ear and put flesh on God's love for you.
